Mr Michael Hardy
Mr Hardy is a graduate of the University of Western Australia with degrees in Arts and Law. He has practised as a barrister and solicitor for 40 years, having been a partner of Robinson Cox (subsequently Clayton Utz) from 1983 to 2002 before establishing the firm Hardy Bowen in 2002. Mr Hardy is a former director and chair of Fleetwood Corporation Limited and is presently a board member of WA Country Health Service.
Mr Laurence Marsland
Mr Marsland brings more than 35 years of technical experience in mining project evaluation, development and implementation. Mr Marsland spent a number of years with Minproc Limited in Australia and the USA before joining Laguna Gold Company where he was the Chief Executive Officer, President and a director. Mr Marsland was also the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Dundee Precious Metals Inc.
Mr Marsland is a graduate of the Western Australia Institute of Technology where he completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a graduate of the Stanford Sloan Fellows Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business where he completed a Master of Science in Management degree. Mr Marsland is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer and was formerly a director of Toro Gold Limited.
Mr Matthew Carr
Mr Carr is a successful and experienced company director having founded Urban Capital Group. Urban Capital Group is a private equity company with a strong focus on property backed investment and security. Matthew is also the Non-Executive Chairman of Andina.
Mr Nick Rowley
Mr Rowley is an experienced corporate executive with a strong financial background having previously worked in the financial services industry for over 10 years where he gained widespread experience in corporate advisory, M&A transactions and equities markets, advising domestic and international Institutional sales and high net worth individuals. He also advised on the equity financings of numerous ASX and TSX listed companies predominantly in the mining and resources sector. Mr Rowley currently serves as Non Executive Director of Cobalt One Ltd (ASX:CO1) and as Director of Corporate Development for Galaxy Resources Ltd (ASX:GXY).
Chief Financial Officer
David is a qualified Finance Executive with over 20 years’ experience gained within dual listed corporations in the mining resources, technology, and pharmaceutical sectors. David’s most recent positions were as contract CFO & Company Secretary for ASX listed mining explorers and developers in the graphite and phosphates sectors. Prior to this, David was the CFO & Company Secretary for over 8 years with Troy Resources who are an ASX/TSX listed junior gold producer and explorer with gold sales of US$200 million annually. While at Troy, David was instrumental in the TSX dual listing and managed the corporate, administrative, and financial processes across the South American based portfolio and was involved with South American focussed M&A.
Mr Zane Lewis
Mr Lewis is a founding director of corporate advisory firm SmallCap Corporate Pty Ltd and has undertaken various roles with ASX and London Stock Exchange (AIM) listed companies. Mr Lewis holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and has over 20 years of corporate advisory experience in Australia, Europe and the USA.
Mr Lewis has developed an extensive understanding of the financial and operational aspects of the Peruvian gold toll treatment industry as CFO and Company Secretary of Andina Resources Limited since 2011.
Mr Lewis is also Non-Executive Director of ASX listed companies: Digimatic Limited, Kingsland Global and Company Secretary at ASX listed companies Lion Energy Limited, Cre8tek Limited.
Mr Travis Schwertfeger
Mr Schwertfeger has over 20 years of global industry experience primarily in gold and copper projects in positions across South America, Africa, Australia and North America, including production, mine development and exploration roles.
He previously held senior technical roles with Newmont Mining Corporation and has extensive corporate and management experience in both ASX and TSX listed mineral resource companies through previous Managing Director / CEO and corporate VP roles.
Vice President Government Affairs, Ecuador
Freddy is a lawyer with 15 years’ experience across several public sector institutions in Ecuador. Freddy’s most recent position was as the Under-Secretary General of Strategic Development and prior to that he was the Under-Secretary of Administration for Hydrocarbon Contracts and Assigned Areas. He holds a master’s degree in Administrative Law from Austral University in Argentina, a Higher Diploma in Local Government Management, and is currently studying a Diploma in Mining Management at the Catholic University of Chile.
Exploration Manager, Ecuador
Sinisa is a geologist with significant experience and success in managing, developing, and exploring mining projects in Ecuador and across south-east Europe. He holds a master’s degree of Science in Geology from the University of Belgrade and has over 10 years’ experience predominantly working in projects hosting epithermal and porphyry style systems, with the last 3 years focused on advanced project exploration and resource definition and estimation of work of gold rich systems in central Ecuador.
